- Application programs written and compiled on either architecture will
- run on both. But, there are significant differences in the chip
- architectures such that they require different kernels. Sun4 is sun4
- and SPARC is sun4c. You can't boot a sun4 architecture with a sun4c
- kernel and visa versa.
