- :which is the same as what's in openwin-menu-utilities except that
- :"SAVE_WORKSPACE" was changed to "save_workspace". The latter is a

- :The script should run "owplaces -silent -multi -script", pass the

-
- owplaces -silent -multi -script -tw -output $HOME/.openwin-init
-
- is what olwm and olvwm runs - and this set of flags DO generate the toolwait.
- owplaces also saves off the original .openwin-init as .openwin-init.BAK.
- It does not, alas handle FrameMaker. But then, since FrameMaker does not
- set the proper X properties for getting its start up info saved, it could
- be said that FrameMaker and not owplaces is broken.
- It WOULD be nice if the console process were some how able to be identified
- and placed nice - though I am not sure how you would identify it. I mean,
- sometimes there is no console window, other times it is contool, or xconsole,
- or xterm -C or mterm -something-or-other, etc.
-
- What _I_ wish owplaces would have is a -merge option, which would just locate
- the processes which properly id themselves, and then merge that into the
- existing .openwin-init, leaving everything else alone. That way folk who
- put xsetroot, etc in the .openwin-init wouldn't lose them all the time.
- Of course, if one wanted to get rid of a window one would have to edit the
- file, but as things stand one has to anyways right now.
-
- Oh, and there was some remark about the file manager icon. Does anyone know if
- the answer to that one is in one of the dozen or so FAQ postings that are on
- the net relating to X or OpenWindows? Isn't there a $HOME file which contains
- the icon coordinates for the wastebasket?
