  14. I found something a little bizarre today.....I've been logged in and
  15. I've received several mail messages but no notification from biff.

  17. I verified that biff is y and logged in and out, logged in on the
  18. console, logged in as root (with biff y), and it still won't work.  I
  19. can't reboot at the moment, but I suspect that would probably cure
  20. whatever this is.

  22. Has anybody else ever witnessed this behavior?

  24. The system is a Sun-SPARC2 running SunOS 4.1.1.......
