  18. i have written such a program (called gate) that allows any tcp
  19. port to be accessed via a pty.  it was created to allow a netblazer
  20. to be used as a modem and printer server.  if there is enough
  21. interest, i can post it (it needs to interface to syslog or at least
  22. have better diagnostics).
