  12.     I need some good advice in getting a modem connected to
  13.     a SPARC IPC.

  15.     I've tried following the instructions in the:

  17.         SUN System Administration guide
  18.         SUN System Administration Training guide
  19.         SUN Desktop quide
  20.  
  21.     and have had no success!

  23.     Can anyone HELP me with this?

  25.     I would like to use the modem as a dial-in and dial-out device.
  26.     I've created the device /dev/cua1, added the device to /etc/remote,
  27.     modified the /etc/ttytab, verified the device in /etc/gettytab.
