- Take a look at the Panasonic EPL-8543. It is not dye sublimation,
- but it does a pretty good job with 4096 colors per pixel at 203
- DPI. It is substantially less expensive to purchase and to run than
- a dye sublimation printer. We connected ours to the parallel port
- on a 4D/30 and wrote some simple software to dither RGB bitmaps to
- print them on it. We use GhostScript to print PostScript.
