- We have a 4/480 with a dual io3/ setup. For the fifth time this year,
- the ethernet interface has suddenly stopped working. Doing a netstat
- shows a couple of packets a second only. We have put another system on the
- network interface and we see traffic. Has anyone seen similar behavior?
- and or have a fix other than changing the io/3 board out every time.
-
- This causes a real problem since netls uses the io/3 board to determine
- the system identity, and when you change it you have to get new keys for
- everything. This is most critical since we are using networker, and
- it is backing up many of our systems and the 1-2 day turnaround to get
- the license key leaves a window of vulnerablity.
-
-
- IN any case, the main question is has anyone seen the io/3 stop working
- as suggested above.
