  14.    We have had some problems with the Wavefront Software as well
  15.  under 4.0.5.  Also, FAST does not run under 4.0.5.  However, 
  16.  through some experimentation and use of trace we were able to
  17.  determine that the failings are due to an inability to deal
  18.  with fonts properly.  A fix that worked for us was to replace
  19.  the fonts in /usr/lib/fmfonts with the old 4.0.1 ones (this
  20.  includes the old X11 fonts and not links to the new ones) and
  21.  to replace the /usr/lib/libfm_s and /usr/lib/libfm_s.a with
  22.  their 4.0.1 versions.  We did receive a fix for FAST, but I
  23.  don't think this is official so I will say no more--contact
  24.  the person who gave you the software.

  26.    Will the font changes break anything?  We have not seen any
  27.  problems, but we have not left them in for regular use.

  29.    By the way the Wavefront programs that we know 
  30.  just won't run without the font changes are
