  15.     We are attempting to connect two SGI machines (PI 4D/35, and Indigo), and Macintosh in a sub-network using "thin-net". Currently, the PI is connected via thick-net Ethernet to the outside world, and we wish to set up a network
  16. in which the PI acts as a server for the other machines.

  18.     What hardware do we need to connect the PI both to the thick-net Ethernet and the thin-net simulataneously? We have had a quote from SGI Express at about $2500 for the necessary hardware. This seems rather high as we know that similar hardware for eg. Sun and Mac costs a few hundred dollars.
