  25. Either add 'conv=sync' or use the variable block size device (see 'man tps'
  26. for details on naming conventions).  We defaulted the /dev/tape link
  27. for 8mm to fixed block size for compatibility with the only other major
  28. vendor shipping 8mm at the time we started shipping it.
