- Yes. There were significant changes in inittab between 3.3 and 4.0.X,
- and people upgrading from 3.3 would have a non-functional system if we
- did it your way. Unfortunately inst doesn't have a way to choose the
- .O vs .N mechanism based on the previous installed vs currently installing
- release.
