- I don't know if it's true for your version of Irix, but I remember the 3.x
- versions required an X-client to run continuesly while you do the "xhost +"
- to make it effective (something to do with the X server aborting every time
- all the X clients finish, if my memory serves me right), so try to do something
- like:

- xhost +
- rsh bighost x....
