  24. The results of two RFD's provided a pretty clear direction of what groups we
  25. should have. The one unresolved issue is how the info-iris mailing list will
  26. be handled. Although no one objected to my proposal, I have NEVER been able
  27. to get in touch with the administrator of the info-iris list to see if the
  28. proposal is okay with him and if he would be willing to implement it. This
  29. doesn't really suprise me given the fact that people always have a real
  30. difficult time getting on and off this mailing list.

  32. I can think of a couple of possible solutions:

  34.  - Proceed to a vote and do nothing about the info-iris mailing list and let
  35.    the administrator of the mailing list worry about how to handle things.
  36.    This probably won't be acceptable to the many people who read this newsgroup
  37.    that way.
  38.  - Someone else volunteer to handle the info-iris mailing lists and force
  39.    people to re-subscribe.
  40.  - Chuck Kennedy actually contacts me and works out a way to handle the group
  41.    split up.
