  13. Hello,
  14.     Does anyone know if future IRIX releases will support
  15. the Seiko ColorPoint Professional (300DPI 24Bit Dye Sublimation)
  16. printer in system software in the future?  I was hoping for
  17. support in imgprint or the SGI postscript printing package
  18. (which I cannot remember the name of).  I have a demo model
  19. here and was able to get it to print usinng the Seiko 8bit
  20. driver using a raw data mode (-o"-u -t") but it required that
  21. I manually scale the images externally (forced printing at 300DPI).
  22.     One key factor (due to its current lack of PostScript
  23. support) for our purchase would be that IRIX would support the
  24. printer (or I could buy an SGI supportted addon product that
  25. would).
