- Being a print-server is only incompatible with the other functions
- in the sense that response may seem excessively sluggish. We have
- run a machine that was print-server, mailhost, clone NetInfo
- server, secondary NFS server, and home directory server for just a
- few users, as well as news server, all at the same time. The only
- thing that didn't work well was the user whose machine it was, who
- had excessively delayed response time at the console.
-
- You are much better off not doing this, if you have enough machines
- to distribute the load properly.
