- Hi all,
-
- Suggestions on how to fix the following problem are welcomed.
- Thanks.
-
-
- System: upgraded 040 cube, 24 MB memory, internal MO disk,
- internal Seagate Elite 1.3GB hard drive, external
- DIT CubeFloppy 2.9 (SCSI port)
-
- Problem: When the internal hard disk had 3.0 pre-release
- installed, it booted fine off the HD. After I
- "downgraded" system software by re-building the
- HD with NS2.0 off the distribution MO disk, the
- machine does not boot anymore.
-
- Sympton: This is what the ROM Monitor (2.1 (v59)) shows:
-
- Searching for CD-ROM drive...
- Exception #5 (0x14) at 0x100a570
-
- Best regards,
-
