  13. At last, I want to get my Mom's UUCP connection going, and all I've got
  14. currently is a Dove fax/modem.  This was supposedly purchased new, but
  15.  
  16.     no printed docs came with it

  18.     the original floppy is unreadable now

  20.     I lost the email address of a guy who may
  21.     have been able to help me

  23. All in all, pretty rotten luck, eh? :-)

  25. So, please help end this tale of woe, and send me the magic I need to
  26. put in my dialer script to make the fax modem be a data modem...and if
  27. necessary, switch back to fax-ness when data connections are closed.

  29. I'll go snoop the archives and try to locate NewsGrazer and a 'better'
  30. version of UUCP (any strong recommendations?  I know that NeXT's
  31. standard stuff is really old).  Any other tips about the Dove fax (or
  32. any other generic fax driver and/or uucp hints) will be warmly and
  33. enthusiastically appreciated!  Thanks very much!
