  14. I am beginning to learn about the interface builder and have been working the  
  15. examples in chapter 8 of the Nextstep Concepts manual.  I have more or less  
  16. succeeded in doing Examples 1-3.  However, one thing seems puzzling:  The  
  17. calculator examples (2 and 3) run fine as applications, but when I try to test  
  18. them using the Test Interface command in IB, nothing happens when I tell it to  
  19. do a calculation.  However, the 'edit' functions seem to work fine in Test  
  20. Interface mode.  Did I make a mistake or is it a quirk of the IB?
