  17. I got bit by the non floppy bug also.  I purchased a 3.0 license for our  
  18. existing cube running 2.1.  Ordered 3 new machines that came with 3.0  
  19. pre-installed and with the shinny new CD-ROMs.  However, no way for me to  
  20. upgrade my cube without that "3.0 upgrade-prep" diskette.  Although, we still  
  21. tried our best to figure out what files were needed.   :-)

  23. What exactly is needed to read the new CD-ROMS on a 2.1 system?  Is the kernel  
  24. patched during the prep?
