- I'm getting some awfully weird noises from my (406MB) hard drive in my 9
- month old NeXTstation mono. Occasionally the drive will make a high pitch
- whining sound (which sounds similar to a skill saw "powering down") for no
- apparent reason. Now, I've had this machine long enough to know that this
- probably isn't a normal sound for the beast to be making.
-
- What I want to know is this: Has anyone else experienced this problem? Are
- there any known problems with NeXT's hard drives?
