  12. I'm getting some awfully weird noises from my (406MB) hard drive in my 9  
  13. month old NeXTstation mono.  Occasionally the drive will make a high pitch  
  14. whining sound (which sounds similar to a skill saw "powering down") for no  
  15. apparent reason.  Now, I've had this machine long enough to know that this  
  16. probably isn't a normal sound for the beast to be making.

  18. What I want to know is this: Has anyone else experienced this problem?  Are  
  19. there any known problems with NeXT's hard drives?
