  12. We have been pondering the fate of Pixelsaver3.0 which is a Backspace
  13. compatible screensaver, lockscreen, backgrounder and system customization
  14. untility which drops into the Preferences application and has the
  15. ability to do animiation in the login window. We have made many additions
  16. and changes including a mouse "sleep now" corner and a general interface
  17. for making nifty changes to the OS (sort of like CDEV's on the Mac).
  18. Quite frankly we're tired of working on it and see very little incentive
  19. as Backspace is avalible free and there are numerous competing products.
  20.     Pixelsaver3.0 is not yet entirely 3.0 compatible yet and we would
  21. like to know if net users would like us to release Pixelsaver3.0 as
  22. public domain (= FREE to all). Would you be willing to write a 
  23. Pixelsaver module? Would you be willing to update Pixelsaver to 3.0?
  24. Please respond via e-mail to "dnp@math.mit.edu" and if there is
  25. enough interest we will place sources on the NeXT archive sites.
  26. Our hope is that you will all help to make Pixelsaver the one FREE
  27. untility that all NeXT owners will want.
