  20. I suggest you start out by opening (and optionally printing) the manual, 
  21. which is the file ntman.dvi which should be in /usr/tex on your machine
  22. (assuming TeX is indeed installed). The manual is rather out of date, 
  23. but the basics are still are correct.  Read through it for an explanation
  24. of what all the different parts do and what the various files are for. 
  25. Then, when you get NeXTstep 3.0, look through the manual again to see just
  26. how much has been added since the last release, as well as to learn about
  27. some of the incompatible changes from what you've got now.
