- Hi,
-
- I was just wondering -- is there a program out there that will
- act as a phone dialing interface, accessing the modem?
-
- My phone is set up on tone, but the * key is screwed because
- that's the memory key. My school uses phone registration and
- requires the * key (the # key on my phone is ok). I'd like a
- program that looks like a keypad and lets you dial a number,
- then maintains the phone line and lets you dial digits, like
- 7923#
- 2*415620600#
- 9#
- the above sequence would register cpsc 620 in the 92 fall semester
- at a&m for example.
-
- I tried using kermit, but I got only as far as atm2, which sets up
- the speaker to be on all the time, and then I managed to call the
- registration computer. But then when I tried to give an action
- code, I used atdt7923#, which disconnects the line.
-
- Any suggestions/ideas?
- Please email and post optionally.
- Thanks,
- Andrew.
