- Epoch Systems have a product called Infinte Storage Servers. The infinite
- storage server is a seperate NFS server that contains magnetic disks,
- opticl disks and tape drives. Files are staged out to the longer term
- storage as their usage drops and eventually removed from the system on
- tape. Inodes are preserved and files can be recalled by inserting the
- proper tape. Prices start around $100K.
