- I haven't done business with Midwest Micro, but I'm transmitting this
- reply over a Zoom V.32.bis FAX Modem which works terrific and only cost
- me $299 (with Mac software and cable) from MacConnection. A colleague
- told me today that the PC version (PC Connection) is $289 (external).
-
- I second the recommendations for Mac/PC Connection. One thing others
- did not mention is that for a measly $3 extra you can get overnight
- delivery (I ordered the Zoom a 9pm one evening and got it from Federal
- Express a 3p the next afternoon... not bad). It's true that
- MacConnection (and presumably the PC counterpart) isn't always the
- lowest price (I've been known to buy from one or two other vendors :)
- but they've never been much out of line on things I've wanted and they
- also have a 30 day money back guarantee on most products (including a
- lot of, but not all, software).
