  13. Since I didn't receive much response from my first posting, I 
  14. thought I would give it one last try.  So here goes...
  15.  
  16. Over the last 18 months we have been developing and implementing
  17. a Technology Independent Library structure using V7 LMS.  Our
  18. library structure involves issues like generic symbols, 
  19. non-homogeneous mapping files, multiple simulation models per 
  20. symbol and "activation on the fly" upon instantiation.  
  21.  
  22. As with all library development "adventures" there have been
  23. many occasions for discussions ranging from structure to 
  24. implementation to support.  Oh yes, and one called V8.  To this 
  25. end, we would like to share the fruits and labor of our ongoing 
  26. adventure with all comers.  Besides the already mentioned 
  27. discussions, we have also spent time addressing assembly headers, 
  28. power/ground table generation, package catalog file generation, 
  29. back annotation and more!

  31. If anyone is interested in further discussions, please post, 
  32. email or phone.  Although all discussions are welcomed, I am 
  33. especially interested in anyone developing a Technology Independent 
  34. Library who has made the transistion from V7 to V8.  Here are 
  35. some suggested topics to get things started.
