  42. I have had the same problem on a number of machines along with assorted bombs
  43. due to "bad f-line instruction" errors.  I used ResEdit to change Finder's
  44. memory allocation up to 358400  in the SIZE=-1 resource.  The problems went
  45. away afterwords.

  47. If you decide to do this, remember to make a good copy of the finder in case
  48. Murphy strikes,  BTW you will have to edit a copy of the Finder and then
  49. replace the finder in the System Folder and reboot.
