- Has anyone else tried printing QuickTime-compressed QuickDraw pictures
- on a LaserWriter? I've tried to print some PICT files containing JPEG
- compressed images. One time I crashed my machine. Another time, with a 300-dpi
- image that I was trying to print in landscape mode, the print job went on for
- two hours before I gave up and went home. When I came back on the Monday, all
- I got was a couple of pages with a scattering of black dots on them.
-
- This is on a IIfx with System 7.0 plus Tune-Up 1.1.1, LaserWriter 7.1.1,
- QuickTime 1.0, Wild Magic 2.0, and a bunch of other stuff. I was doing the
- printing with TeachText 7.0. The images themselves were from various
- sources, either converted from JPEG files or generated from uncompressed
- PICT images. In all cases, they looked fine when viewed on screen in TeachText.
