- One might also want to figure out what the cost of a PC would be to make
- Windows work like a Mac. Lets not forget that great Apple sales term
- "value-added". Once you figure out the cards you need to support NT
- on a level with the Mac, then compare prices. That is all part of the
- PC price racket, though. Sell the base box for cheap and don't say
- what its going to cost to get ya computing like a Macintosh.
-
- I'm not completely aware of what all NT will be, though. If it doesn't
- somehow replace DOS or use an upgraded DOS I don't see how it could

-
- Aw, heck, I could go on and on...Just don't forget the pricing, though.
- Figure out what you need or will need from your computer in the way of
- monitor/color capabilities, sound, network architecture, I/O. Then
- add some price to that, the cost of time, to this to figure out how
- to configure and properly use all software that you will need. This is
- your PC price. Now find a Mac that meets those capabilities and add the
- time cost (which should be significantly less). Chances are the Mac will
- be cheaper and money better spent.
