  12. Well, the subject says it all...

  14.     Ever since I remember installing tune-up 1.1.1, I remember having
  15. a very specific problem with several applications (Superpaint 3.0, Before
  16. Dark 1.0.1 etc...).  What happens is this:  the application will quit 
  17. suddenly and the machine will resume to the finder.  After this happens,
  18. Ill get a dialog box that says something like:

  20.     The application "unknown" has unexpectedly quit because
  21.     and error of type 01 occurred.
  22.  
  23. The unknown is not generic; it appears every time no matter what application
  24. Im running...so I can assume that the real appl quits before the system knows
  25. whats going on.  Then, it realizes what happened, but because the appl is no
  26. longer in memory, it doesnUt know what to call it, and thus calls it
  27. unknown.

  29. Has this ever happened to anybody?  I have seen in happen on several machines
  30. and I thought it was of a corrupt system (that seemed to fix it once).  Id
  31. like to gather some info about this, and see if it makes any more sense.
