- Well, the subject says it all...
-
- Ever since I remember installing tune-up 1.1.1, I remember having
- a very specific problem with several applications (Superpaint 3.0, Before
- Dark 1.0.1 etc...). What happens is this: the application will quit
- suddenly and the machine will resume to the finder. After this happens,
- Ill get a dialog box that says something like:
-
- The application "unknown" has unexpectedly quit because
- and error of type 01 occurred.
-
- The unknown is not generic; it appears every time no matter what application
- Im running...so I can assume that the real appl quits before the system knows
- whats going on. Then, it realizes what happened, but because the appl is no
- longer in memory, it doesnUt know what to call it, and thus calls it
- unknown.
-
- Has this ever happened to anybody? I have seen in happen on several machines
- and I thought it was of a corrupt system (that seemed to fix it once). Id
- like to gather some info about this, and see if it makes any more sense.
- Replies can be posted here or e-mailed to me directly at:

- Thanks in advance for the time and effort,
-
