- Seems to be my week for discoveries!!!
-
- If you have Vantage (commercial McSink) 1.61 you may have seen this
- problem...
-
- (System 7.01, Tuneup 1.1.1)
-
- Create a new folder, copy a file of type/creator TEXT/McSk into it,
- double-click on the file in the new folder, quit the Vantage editor
- (command-Q), drag the new folder to the trash. Empty the trash and
- see a "can't delete folder cos it is locked or in-use" message. The
- new folder in the trash is now empty and even restarting the finder
- (from macsbug) does not clear the in-use flag. Reboot the mac or
- dismount/remount the volume containing the new folder to enable you
- to empty the trash.
-
- Could someone out there in net land duplicate this for me please?
-
- I'm using silver-volumes from LaCie to partition my disk, is that a
- factor?
-
- email me and I'll summarise for the net (and Baseline Publishers).
