  10. I discovered something about the System 7 finder which is
  11. not mentioned in the Macintosh Reference and not in
  12. The System 7 Book by Graig Danuloff. Also I haven't read it
  13. anywere, on the net or a magazine.

  15. For some it might be usefull to know this:

  17. Whenever you hold down the shift-key during startup no
  18. extensions will be loaded and no item in the Startup
  19. Items Folder will be executed.
  20. However, when you startup normal and start holding down
  21. the shift-key after the last extension is loaded but before
  22. the Finder is completely started no item in the Startup
  23. Items Folder will be executed.
