- We have a lab machine here that should have certain programs running
- at all times. Some people accidentally turn these programs off when
- they're done using the computer, though. What would be nice is an
- INIT that I could use to specify certain applications that should be
- _Launch-ed every 15 minutes or so, or do nothing if those apps are
- already running. This would have to be INIT or else the student might
- turn it off also. It doesn't have to be a secure system because these
- users aren't mischevious, just naive. I gather Frontier or QuickKeys
- might be able to do this, but I'd prefer a simpler, public domain
- solution. Whatever happened to the cron program that was supposed to
- be coming out for the Mac?
-
- Thanks very much for any suggestions.
