  16. I'm wondering if the following utilites (or anything close to 'em) exist
  17. or are being planned into the next system release...this is basically
  18. a wish list but hopefully santa will come early this year and tell me
  19. "go look in blah/blah/blah on sumex for that one"

  21. I'm running system 7.0 + tune up and using beheirarch (sp?) on a Mac II.

  23. WISH 1: I'd like to be able to move a file from an open window to a particular
  24. sub-folder by just dragging the file over to the hard-disk icon (or any folder
  25. on the desktop)and having a menu of all the sub-folders pop up similar to the
  26. way beheirarch pops up menus and submenus for folders & nested folders under
  27. the apple menu...this way..instead of opening up the window for the hard-disk
  28. and the several layers down using a non-icon view, the menu would just pop up
  29. and I could bury the file in the harddisk from the desktop....

  31. ??? DOES THIS FEATURE ALREADY EXIST SOMEWHERE ???

  33. WISH 2: Regarding the new drag and drop feature used to open files from the
  34. application you drag them to....it seems that my Mac will only recgonize
  35. files created by the application you drag them to...for example...if I drag
  36. a generic document (which MS Word CAN open from its file menu when viewing
  37. all readable files) to the Word application icon it won't highlight and I
  38. can't open it this way...but it works great if I drag a Word file to the Word
  39. application....is there a way to force Word to open the generic document?
