- I've had similiar problems to this with system 7 too. I commonly create aliases
- for stuff on disks. The alias retains the original icon till I rebuild the
- desktop, then they turn to generic. On the non-system disks, the files seem
- to lose their icons also unless they are in a folder. If someone could
- post some kind of resedit hack to fix this it would be greatly appreciated.
