- First off, I'm using MIDI Manager v1.2 and I'm not sure where an
- update can be obtained.
-
- APDA, or bundled online with the Lime demo on novamail.

- More importantly, I'm seeking technical
- information on communicating with MIDI devices through it.

- APDA.

- Side note: I heard a nasty rumor that MIDI Manager will no longer be
- supported by Apple at all - so I'm not even sure if I should bother with
- this project. Are MIDI applications these days primarily just dealing
- with the serial port(s) directly, or using propriety systems (like
- Opcode's OMS)?
-
- MIDI Manager hasn't had any proper support for years AFAICT. I'm currently
- using OMS which has a MIDI Manager bridge, so my MM programs work. This is
- the only way I've got a fighting chance of (say) doing MIDI on a PowerBook;
- Apple are obviously not interesting in fixing MIDI Manager to work properly.
