  12. I had a Plus and an external 20 M Apple HD. I bought a Quantum 105 and
  13. my intention was to change the drives by myself. They didn't get the
  14. drive to the shop on the day they promised and so they said they could
  15. do the work for me. They brought the disk to me home and everything
  16. seemed to be fine - but it came out they had formatted the disk using
  17. interleave 1:1. (should be 1:3 for Plus?)

  19. I tried to format the disk using my old Apple HD installer that I have got
  20. when I bought my HD. But it didn't recognice the new disk.

  22. If I start my Mac with a diskette the HD icon is on the desktop and the HD
  23. works. So, do I have to change the interleave to 1:3? And is it really
  24. so that Apple HD installer recognices only Apple HDs?
