- Hi.
-
- I suspect this has been asked here before, but the only FAQs I found were for
- mac.programmer and didn't touch on this subject.
-
- I have a disk formatted under MS-DOS which contains archives for the Mac in
- Stuffit format.
-
- I used Apple File Exchange to copy these .SIT files over to the Macintosh, and
- then ran UnStuffIt. UnStuffIt would not recognize these files as archives and
- therefore would not decompress them. The files came over with type "document"
- which is apparently incorrect.
-
- Is there a simple means of converting these files to be decompressible?
-
- Unfortunately the Mac in question does not have a modem, so the files cannot be
- downloaded directly, only transferred via floppy from a PC compatible.
-
- Thanks for any help. If this one is discussed a lot, please answer by email.
