  23. Think about it, apple and IBM are jointly developing a new computer platform
  24. that will be able to run the old software of both platforms, but not
  25. be either.  Motorola is developing the chipset, and from what I've heard will
  26. be able to sell it to 3rd parties.  IBM didn't want to get into the legal 
  27. battle with Apple that Microsoft and HP did, so they got the rights to 
  28. elements of the interface.  Apple has some good points, and was once
  29. one of the best GUIs around, but they are loosing ground fast.  Try OS/2
  30. and WPS before you get in a tizzy, you might be suprised.
