  14. This is of course not the group for a -discussion- either of grammar or of
  15. linguistic imperialism. However:

  17. The posting about "it's" and "its" was not a criticism --- it was a
  18. statement of fact. If the language of comp.sys.mac.misc were French, say,
  19. then one of its attractions would, to some people, be the opportunity of
  20. improving their French.

  22. An easy way to remember which is which is to recall "his" and "he's". That
  23. establishes the pattern not only for "its" and "it's", but for "your"/"you're"
  24. and "their"/"they're" as well.
