  14. If you're looking for a client-server paradigm, then there are a bunch
  15. of options.  HyperCard is, for example, the choice of Sybase for
  16. Macintosh client software.  If you can find some of the Oracle
  17. externals (although Oracle prefers using the Spinnaker solution) you
  18. can go that route.  DAL is another.  If you want to go on a
  19. client-client database (e.g. 4D), I think the only solutions available
  20. are from 1st Desk Systems (their stuff is still in alpha/beta
  21. depending on who you are), and I think FoxBase has a client-client
  22. solution as well.
