  13. I recently purchased a Novy ImagePro from MacProducts, 
  14. the one they call the "Railgun," and have installed
  15. it on my SE FDHD. I love the speed and the 19" display
  16. it gives me, but it does seem to have one bug. My 
  17. Superdrive seems unwilling to recognize about 50% of
  18. 800k floppies I insert while it is in 68030 mode. If I
  19. go to 68000 mode, it recognizes these disks just fine....
  20. I have reinstalled my System, the Systech software,
  21. System 7 Tune-up, rebuilt the desktop, zapped the PRAM,
  22. checked for conflicts from all my INITs and my CDEVs,
  23. opened up my Mac and checked the cabling, and none of
  24. this has made this damned thing read disks. It won't even
  25. read these 800k disks from an EXTERNAL floppy drive.

  27. Has anyone had these problems? Does anyone have a solution?
  28. If not, at least consider this a warning to potential buyers.

  30. FYI I am running system 7.01, Tuneup 1.1.1, Systech software 2.5
  31. and their 7 patch. Is there a newer Systech INIT and CDEV?

  33. Other than this one problem, I have been satisfied with
  34. the board's performance. But I have a hard time with not being
  35. able to format or read 800k floppies.
