  13. I have an Apple 12" Color display on an LC. A couple weeks ago it died
  14. completely, but it was under warranty, so the repair was free. The dealer
  15. replaced the "main deflector board". At the same time, he reduced the size
  16. of the display on the screen to something a little larger than the 9" 
  17. Classic display. Now I know I have just as many pixels showing on the 
  18. screen, but I also have a thick black border to stare at. The dealer said
  19. he did it to correct a serious "bend" in the right edge of the display,
  20. and that on contacting Apple he was told this was the only thing that 
  21. could be done.

  23. Anyone else experience this? Should I be satisfied?
