- I also have a SE/030 but I added the hard drive myself. Lucky for me
- because I bought the hard drive with a VISA Gold, which extended the
- warranty to 3 years.

- I called Quantum (don't have the numbers on me right now) and they have a
- swap program that exchanges the drives for ~1/2 of the street price.
- I paid $175+tax+shipping for a new 105M, which comes with a new two year
- warranty. However, VISA is paying for it, so I'm happy. :P

- Before I swapped it, however, I had Quantum send me a new EPROM which
- tries harder to spin up the drive. This works but only if you set the
- system to wait about 10s before looking for the drive. It seems to take
- longer to spin up with this PROM. I used this only has a temp measure
- so I could back up my data before going the swap route above.
