  11. Here's an oddity...my PowerBook 140 went out one weekend, and came back
  12. feeling ill. It seems that after being turned on and not asleep for a
  13. while, the contrast of a semicircular area of the screen will begin to
  14. darken. Moving the lid of the PB will sometimes get it to settle down,
  15. but most of the time I have to shut it off, let it sit, and try again
  16. later.

  18. And when I say darken, I mean that it gets BLACK. I can still adjust the
  19. contrast controls and make it readable, but then, when it flickers back
  20. to normal for a moment, the screen goes white.
