- Here's an oddity...my PowerBook 140 went out one weekend, and came back
- feeling ill. It seems that after being turned on and not asleep for a
- while, the contrast of a semicircular area of the screen will begin to
- darken. Moving the lid of the PB will sometimes get it to settle down,
- but most of the time I have to shut it off, let it sit, and try again
- later.
-
- And when I say darken, I mean that it gets BLACK. I can still adjust the
- contrast controls and make it readable, but then, when it flickers back
- to normal for a moment, the screen goes white.
-
- HELP!
