- I just got my NewLife 25 MHz accelerar on my SE finally, after waiting for
- 3 weeks for it to get here. After much hassle installing it, revolving around
- the salespersons little omission of asking whether I has a resistor or DIP SIMM
- SE(the accelerator was designed for a DIP SIMM and I have an older resistor SE.
- Iyou want to know how we managed to fit it in, email me.)), it works great.
- The video is incredibly fast. Lunatic Fringe, which was glacial before, is
- almost too fast to play. The only problem is that the sound is garbled. The
- sounds devolve into static and they aren't decipherable. I have tried the
- sound driver options in the control panel that controls the board, but the
- problem persists. Has anyone figured out a way to get around this?
- Over all, for the closeout price of $299, this is was a great deal.
