  13. A friend is purchasing a Mac LC II and needs to get a color monitor to go
  14. with it. She wants to get something like the Apple HiRes Monitor, but it is
  15. expensive. I guess any 14" trinitron is going to cost more that a cheapo
  16. 14" sampo, but what are the differences? She is not considering the 12"
  17. monitor options. She wants something with the standard 640x480 resolution.

  19. Who makes an inexpensive monitor with a trinitron tube? How do the other
  20. brands (magnavox, nec, sampo) compare? What are the drawbacks of having a
  21. cheaper monitor?
