  11. I have a powerbook 100 (4/40). I'm using ClarisWorks and also have installed
  12. an automatic compression utility called More Disk Space. The latter is set
  13. up with ClarisWorks and files with its creator type as exceptions for
  14. automatic compression. I launch ClarisWorks from an alias in the apple menue.
  15. When I do so while the machine is plugged in, no problem.  If I do so while
  16. on battery power the application launches and then, when I choose Word Processing
  17. as the type of file I want to open I get the message the messate "The application
  18. "unknown" could not be opened due to an error of Type One" (or words
  19. very close to that at any rate.)
  20. I have no problem opening while plugged in. Does this make sense to anyone?

  22. I also noticed this morning that the battery was not fully charged in spite
  23. of the fact that I'd left it plugged in a all night.  Is this related, perhaps?
