- I have a powerbook 100 (4/40). I'm using ClarisWorks and also have installed
- an automatic compression utility called More Disk Space. The latter is set
- up with ClarisWorks and files with its creator type as exceptions for
- automatic compression. I launch ClarisWorks from an alias in the apple menue.
- When I do so while the machine is plugged in, no problem. If I do so while
- on battery power the application launches and then, when I choose Word Processing
- as the type of file I want to open I get the message the messate "The application
- "unknown" could not be opened due to an error of Type One" (or words
- very close to that at any rate.)
- I have no problem opening while plugged in. Does this make sense to anyone?
-
- I also noticed this morning that the battery was not fully charged in spite
- of the fact that I'd left it plugged in a all night. Is this related, perhaps?
-
- Thanks for suggestions.
- Steve.
