- In my quest to seek relief for my aching wrists, I've been looking
- into the possibility of getting a Voice Navigator II for my Mac
- SE/30 to relieve some of the mousing & typing I've been doing. The
- best price I've found so far is $549 at MacConnection. Expensive,
- but less than surgery. But I haven't found any dealers in my area
- who carry the item and can demo it for me (otherwise I would have
- probably bought one from them), so I still have some questions.
-
- Is the software for the Navigator System 7 savvy? Is it possible to
- use voice to trigger Apple Events, for example?
-
- Is it possible for Navigator to trigger QuicKeys macros?
-
- How much RAM does running the Navigator software require? How much
- disk space?
-
- Is the Navigator limited to running menu commands, or some other
- subset of Mac commands, or does it have fairly robust capabilities?
-
- If anyone can answer these questions and also post their impressions
- after using the product, I would appreciate it, and so would my
- wrists.
