- I am planning on upgrading the hard disk capacity of my '020-based
- Mac LC. After reading numerous ads in the magazines, I have two
- questions:
-
- 1) I have seen access time claims from 10 ms to 15 ms for the drives
- I'm looking at. In ordinary everyday usage, would I be able to
- notice this amount of difference on my LC? (Or would the change
- from my current 25 ms drive even be noticeable?)
-
- 2) One ad left me with the impression that a drive, nominally rated
- with a 12 ms access time, would only operate at a 25 ms rate if
- installed *internally* in my LC. Is this true and, if so, why?
-
- Thank you for your advice in advance,
